Pray, Love, Live

The holiday season is here and that means playing Santa and seeing who is naughty or nice. But in the midst of all things holly and jolly pray for yourself and others. This season is a tricky one and depression is just waiting to show itself to try and ruin that holiday cheer. With missing a loved one or believing no one cares enough to know if you are missing or just gone.

Two years ago around Thanksgiving I was in my room laying in the bed not wanting to deal with family and friends. Told myself “No one would miss me if I dont show up to the table” or “I’m not really needed”. The holidays is all about enjoying the company of others and having good times. Now fast forward to this past Thanksgiving I had to really pray and ask God to keep my mind at peace and allow me to have a great Thanksgiving (which I did by the way🎉💕). Still pray, love and live in this holiday season.

Pray for peace

Pray for comfort

Pray for understanding

Pray for ease

Pray for strength

Love yourself!

Love yourself!

Love yourself!

Love yourself!

Love your family

Love

( I put love yourself a few times because that is the most important thing before anything and it’s okay to be selfish sometimes because you are no good to anyone if you aren’t good to yourself)

Live!

Live!

Live!

Live for a purpose

Live with a promise

Live with the intent to enjoy

(I put live a few times because if you don’t live for anyone else live for yourself)

Keep in mind not everyone is open about their struggle. A random hug could change/help a life, pray for the ones dealing with depression, love the ones that deal with depression and live to help someone deal with depression. It’s not an act or something to get attention for. It’s a cry for help!

Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
