Moms In Ministry

Hebrews 6:10

"God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them"

Ministry- The service, functions, or profession of a minister of religion (

This one is for the Moms that are very involved in church! Listen you might not be ordained as a minister but you do works of a minister. Ministry can require you to bring people closer to Christ through your business or spreading the gospel. I myself serve on the praise and worship team, and music department or wherever my hands are needed.

Being in ministry and a mom can be overwhelming at times. Now every mom might feel different about my take on this topic but to each it's own. As I stated before I am a singer and worker for the kingdom. There are times when my child wants to stay home with me or does not want to be at church for long hours. Even though she is young she does not fully understand when "Mommy has to serve". All she wants to do is be under mommy and help mommy when she is working and helping the church.

I sometimes get nervous when I have her sitting and not by my side. I have to always check on her. Its said to say but you have to very careful of your children while in church. You get so caught up in doing ministry and not paying close eyes on them that something can happen. Everyone in the church can't be trusted. Now this is not me saying that the church is a bad place because there are "bad people" every where you turn even outside the church.

While doing ministry and you have your child with you be prayerful as you are working and you have someone watching your child. Also you being in place in ministry will bless your household. Habakkuk 2:1 (Common English Bible) " I will take my post; I will position myself on the fortress. I will keep watch to see what the Lord says to me and how he will respond to my complaint.

Ministry is never easy and can at times be trying but when you are obedient to God and what He wants of you, you will be rewarded. To the moms that are in ministry keep doing the work of the Lord!
